Old Hundred Gold Mine Tour in Silverton, CO

 Experience the secret world of the underground gold miner as you tour the Old Hundred, a mine that operated from 1904 until the 1970s. Put on a yellow rain slicker and hard hat before boarding a rail car that will take you 1500 feet underground into the actual mining operation. You’ll see what it was like to go underground in search of the elusive treasure. The old mining equipment is still in place, awaiting another opportunity to strike it rich.

Tours depart every hour on the hour, May through mid-October. The Old Hundred is located just 5 miles east of Silverton on Highway 110 (turn right at Howardsville).
