Great Colorado Lodging Specials now!

Many well traveled mountain vacationers know that often some of the best deals can be found in the lesser known gems or areas of popular destinations. As an avid skier, some of my most favorite experiences are the ones that are just a little bit out of the way - or off the beaten path. One of those favorite spots I like to frequent as often as I can is in southwest Colorado. Durango is a central host to much of the history and beauty that makes Colorado such a distinctive state to visit.

Recently I came across a great resource for Durango Lodging deals - the company that is the official central reservations for many destinations with unique experiences - such as Silverton, Cortez, Telluride, Mesa Verde, Salida, Pagosa Springs and several more including options from their neighbor to the north for lodging in Glenwood Springs Colorado.

Here are some examples of current specials they are running:

Durango Winter Train Lodging special: Special $10 off per adult and $5 off per child when riding in the months of January and February

Durango Mountain Resort Ski Deal Buy 3, Get 4 package

Glenwood Springs Ski Free Buy 2, Get 1 package

Check it out today before these specials expire...

Steeped in history as Durango's most prominent downtown landmark, the Historic Strater Hotel delivers world-class accommodations and hospitality. Originally constructed in 1887, the Strater Hotel offers 93 spectacular Victorian rooms, each filled with beautiful walnut antiques and Hand-screened wallpapers. A beautiful and historic lobby and several lounges, conference rooms, and much more await you in the heart of Downtown Durango. Few if any of Durango's lodging options will put you so close to so many local attractions including the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, the Henry Strater Theatre and the historic Main Avenue Shopping District.

Durango is home to many events in both summer and winter and the Strater Hotel is the centerpiece for most of them. The Cowboy Poetry Festival, Bluegrass Meltdown, Snowdown, and the Durango Film Festival are just a few of the great events happening throughout the year in Durango, Colorado.
