Many well traveled mountain vacationers know that often some of the best deals can be found in the lesser known gems or areas of popular destinations. As an avid skier, some of my most favorite experiences are the ones that are just a little bit out of the way - or off the beaten path. One of those favorite spots I like to frequent as often as I can is in southwest Colorado.
